Ukraine Compromise Seems Reasonable

It seems that the crisis in Ukraine may yet have a happy ending, with more federalism in the country and less chance of the persistence of the gangsterism that has held the country back. The BBC’s analysis of the compromise looks promising. None of that would have have been possible had Viktor Yushchenko — slimed as “their (losing) candidate, a neocon/CIA stooge” [in the words of Tom DiLorenzo] and “the once-handsome Yushie” [in the words of Justin Raimondo] — and his supporters not stood their ground.

It’s good to know that there are still courageous people in the world. Viktor Yushchenko seems to be one. Pat Tillman, who was recently mocked on lewrockwell.com, was another: “Poor Pat Tillman….He was awarded a silver star for bravery, and we were told stories of his derring-do…,” only to be “machine gunned by his own patrol,” all for the amusement of the hate-America-and-hate-decency crowd at LRC.
