His Day in Court
I was exceptionally pleased to turn on the television and see lawyers (in military uniform) who had brought a successful case on behalf of Guantanamo detainees say that “there is no place that is removed from the law” and express their gratitude to the U.S. Supreme Court for their decision in the case. The Cato Institute filed an amicus brief in the case.
Kudos to you and the folks at Cato for this victory.
Good work! The guys at Gitmo may be dirtbags, but even dirtbags should be judged by law, and not according to the whims of King George.
