One of the least insightful people on television today (and that’s saying a lot), is Lou Dobbs, who has just issued his manifesto:
And, yes, I’m an ardent and fervent believer in the first three words of that radical populist document, which begins with the words “We the People.”
What courage.
This man has a Harvard (econ) degree?
He must have been sleeping during the micro courses. And during logic, too.
Oh yes and what happens when populist determination sets its sights on the constitution? Call me cynical but if we put the bill of rights to a popular vote it would not pass. Populism is great if you are the majority. Mr Dobbs you are not a populist as much as you are a Vox Populist.
I am shocked that you would call Dobbs an ingoramus. That is out of line. It is not fair to the rest of the ignoramuses:) Tom, did you get my email?
Tom, your headline says what we all were thinking.
Suggested tagline: “A New Manifesto by the Author of ‘Attack of the Brown People!’ and ‘Why Cheap Food is Bad for the Middle Class'”
Seriously, though…from Bernard Shaw and Judy Woodruff to Dobbs, Nancy Grace and Glenn Beck. Yeesh.
(But at least Wolf Blitzer is on three hours a day.)
