Supporters of Free Speech in Paris….and Stockholm

Some of the friends of freedom of speech in Paris.

They’ve written a short report (in French) on the manifestation of support for Abdelkareem. Vincent Ginocchio, one of the main organizers, tells me that

“One hundred full-size posters were stuck on the walls near the Place de l’Etoile / Arc de Triomphe (with adhesive tape on Kareem’s mouth, as a symbol). An Iranian girl and two Egyptians we met in the street even helped us distribute our leaflets!”

STOCKHOLM MANIFESTATION:

Jonas Virdalm (virdalm@runbox.com) is organizing an event in Stockholm, to be held on February the 21st at noon outside the Embassy of Egypt. Speakers will include Johan Norberg (who spoke at the same conference in Cairo where I spoke and at which we met Abdelkareem) and Swedish MP Fredrik Malm.
