I’m flying up today to Toronto to give a talk on the benefits of freedom of trade (“globalization”), organized by Seyitbek Usmanov (a stalwart libertarian from Kyrgyzstan who interned at Cato last fall), with the support and advice of Pierre Desrochers, a professor of geography.

Then it’s back late Tuesday night, so I’ll be back in time to speak on Wednesday to the American Institute for History Education on Capitol Hill. (And on Thursday I’ll lead the public speaking workshop for the Cato Institute Research Interns, which takes most of a day, as each gives a 4-minute talk, which is taped, followed by a discussion of possible improvements.)
