This week, I read in The Economist that when ” Jim Bunning, a senator from Kentucky, read in his morning paper that the American government had taken control of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, he thought he had “woken up in France” “.
France is not a socialist country. We do not have le capitalisme sauvage. But we are not socialist. We have not nationalised the majorite of our mortgages or nationalised our bancs.
