Off to the UK

I’m off on Sunday to the United Kingdom. I’ll be at the IHS/Freedom Week Reunion on December 1, go up to Oxford December 2 to speak to the Oxford Libertarian Society on “Liberty as the Remedy to Poverty: Socialism as a Cause” (8 pm, Harris Manchester College), officiate at a reception/forum December 3 on “The Financial Crisis: A Market View,” give a talk December 4 at an Institute of Economic Affairs luncheon on the worldwide movement for liberty (“Promoting Market-Led Development, Peace, and Freedom in Challenging Regions”), and meet with a variety of Muslim friends to talk about liberty in the Islamic world on December 5. I’ve also got a number of other appointments set up in between those and over the weekend, so I should keep quite busy.
