		<description>Thanks, Jonathan.  That&#039;s a very helpful posting by Tim Lee.  I share his distrust of &quot;class action suits&quot; of this sort.  The agreement was a bad solution to bad situation; there should be no problem at all with scanning and making available out-of-copyright materials (or perhaps for those for which no copyright holder is identifiable after a good-faith search).</description>
