By the way, the security situation seems pretty calm here. (The point of random terror attacks, of course, is to create terror, but it doesn’t seem to have terrified most people here. Life is not easy, but it certainly goes on. Kabul, like other cities, has violence, but there is a lot more non-violence than violence.)
