Globalization and Back Again
I’m back in D.C., after a really fun tour through Portland and the San Francisco Bay Area. I gave talks on the benefits of freedom of trade and international commerce at Portland State University, Stanford University, and the University of California at Berkeley. (The rest of my schedule is available at www.aworldconnected.org.) I got a goodly number of challenging questions and enjoyed the discussion with the students. I’ll post a bit more in the next day or two on some of the issues raised. (I should also mention that this leg of my trip reminded me how much nicer than Washington, D.C. San Francisco and Portland, Oregon are.)
