I’ll Develop You, Alright….Right in the Face!

After destroying economic, social, and political life in Zimbabwe, the government of that ruined country has been chosen to chair the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development. The downward spiral toward death initiated by Robert Mugabe simply is not sustainable. Starvation is an unsustainable form of undevelopment.

  1. Robert Mugabe reminds me of other dictators around the globe such as Vladimir Putin, Hu Jintao, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, etc. who are doing the same thing. There’s even a photo of Hugo Chavez embracing his Zimbabwean pen pal-Robert Mugabe.

You would certainly have to be on the lines of Joseph Goebbels in order to rabidly go about and defend that dictator and ignore that dictator’s crimes of humanity.

I loved the Zimbabwean ambassador the UN’s comment to the BBC: “What does sustainable development have to do with human rights?”

I think that pretty much sums up a dictator’s attitude right there.
