I’m looking forward to flying on a lighter, cheaper-to-fuel, more luxurious Boeing 787! Imagine a firm in a highly state-subsidized industry thinking like this:
“Our journey began some six years ago when we knew we were on the cusp of delivering valuable new technologies that would make an economic difference to our airline customers,” Mike Bair, vice president and general manager of the 787 program, told the crowd.
One Response to “Very Cool”
Piloting a Cessna might take a little longer, and I’m my own stewardess, but I can bring open beverages (non-alcoholic for the pilot, of course!), keep my oversize bottle of shampoo, and it’s only about three minutes between the car and the plane. (Not counting the weather briefing, flight briefing, and pre-flight equipment check.)
