I watched the CSPAN clip. The defense and framing of your position was sharp, funny and effective.
The parts I enjoyed most were:
“And it turns out criminals break the law. Who knew? The mayor was shocked to find out that criminals are not obeying the law.”
and:
“If someone had broken into your home would you rather have a weapon or a telephone?”
