But then, I’m a libertarian and believe in the presumption of innocence, limited government, and the rule of law. Some, in contrast, have called for banning video cameras that reveal police misconduct.
(Note: State video cameras to watch citizens are a rather different matter. But cameras to watch state employees — especially those who are authorized to use force — seem to have a very positive impact on behavior.)

Though it didn’t have anything to do with state employees, it was an example of capturing a violent incident on video, thus exposing the brutality.
