On the Road

After a rather hectic and stressful trip through Kabul to the airport, where I found that my ticket wouldn’t work and I had to buy another (cash only: thank God I still had some) and just barely made it on to the plane (a barely functional former Turkish Airways plane that apparently just made the inspection criteria for flying to Turkey and Europe). Anyway, in calm and nice Germany for a little while, then on to the airport……ack!…in 20 minutes.
