Miami Herald: “They’re torturing me, Honduras’ Manuel Zelaya claims

Honduras’ fallen leader told The Miami Herald he is being subjected to mind-altering gas and radiation — and that `Israeli mercenaries’ are planning to assassinate him.

The fact that the US State Department revoked the visas of a group of Hondurans tells us a lot. It was the membership of the Honduran Supreme Court. Get it?

It is frightening. Does Obama not have experienced foreign affairs advisors who can read the Honduran Constitution?

Article 239.- The citizen who has played the title of Executive Power may not be President or Vice President of the Republic.

The who broke this provision or propose its reform, as well as those who support directly or indirectly, cease immediately in the performance of their respective positions and will be disqualified by ten (10) years for the exercise of public office.

And here is an authoritatve confirmation of the constitutionality of Zelaya’s removal from office. Strangely though, it does not mention Article 239 of the Constitution and is too much focused on procedural issues.
