Yes Tom. Huge success for the German Liberals. The FDP with its smart leader Guido Westerwelle got nearly 15 % and is the big winner of sunday evening. Within the coalition it will replace the social democratic party which is going to loose its status as a party for the whole people. We are well prepared for the government and hopefully will turn Germany in a more market orientated direction .
So, let´s be optimistic for a while, although the financial problems of the new government are huge. But the good thing is that our three beloved left wing parties can compete as parlamentary opposition and maybe weaken themselves.
