It may be a perception bias, but…why do postal workers seem more likely than other kinds of employees to go, um, well, to go postal?
My colleague David Boaz once spoke at a presentation on private alternatives to the post office and made a strong case for eliminating the USPS, at the end of which he quipped that, despite his strong support for full privatization, he wouldn’t want to be the one to announce the decision to 800,000 postal employees.
