Movie Flash! Just saw the movie Enigma. Excellent. Not only was the screenplay riveting, but the critique of totalitarian collectivism was profound. The portrayal of wartime Britain was outstanding and the acting was first rate, especially from the strikingly dashing Jeremy Northam (also playing a major role in Gosford Park, which I also found riveting), the handsome Nikolaj Waldau, and Dougray Scott, the focus of the story. And, yes, Kate Winslett and Saffron Burrows were outstanding in the female lead roles. But not as easy on the eyes.
