I cut off the blog entry below just shortly after posting it because of quick intervention and domination by someone uninterested in discussion but eager for confrontation and carrying on battles from decades past. I’ll reopen it later, as I’m quite interested in getting ideas from people on how to pull out of the Middle Eastern tarpit our political leaders have plunged us into.
