Now’s the time to start planning on those extra educational opportunities. You can learn about the history, the insights, and the promise of classical liberalism this year at three long-weekend Cato University seminars (April 28-May 1 for Economics; June 2-5 for History; and October 20-23 for Rhetoric) or at a variety of seminars for college students sponsored by the Institute for Humane Studies and for high school and college students by the Foundation for Economic Education. And for those in Europe (or who’d like to travel to Europe and learn about liberty while there), there are the fabulous programs of the Institute for Economic Studies – Europe.
(They’re all great. I lecture for all of them and am on the board of trustees for FEE. If you’re a student, you should seriously consider taking part in a seminar. If you’re not, you should consider helping to sponsor a student by providing financial support to these excellent groups. And if you know of students who might be interested, by all means send them the links.)
