An Opportunity to Test Theories of Economic Growth: The Korean Peninsula at Night*
I’ll post a few photos from my recent lecture trips, where I spoke before student audiences in Tbilisi (Georgia), Yerevan and Gyumri (Armenia), and Baku and Novkhani (Azerbaijan). (A few of them can be found on Cato.ru.) I also met with journalists, human rights activists, lawyers, and political leaders, ministers, and members of parliament (in Georgia in the government, in Armenia in the government and in the opposition, and in Azerbaijan in the opposition). I also did media interviews, the most interesting of which was on Azerbaijan TV. (I’ll try to get a recording of the hour-long discussion in English and Azeri [I had a very talented translator next to me]; the host was a remarkably interesting post-modernist with a literary bent.)
