Thanks to the hard work of my colleagues, the ideas of freedom are now appearing in Arabic newspapers, as well as on the Lamp of Liberty web site. Essays by William Easterly, David Boaz, Leszek Balcerowicz, Ian Vasquez, and others have appeared in the last few weeks in Arabic papers. And a lot more is in the pipeline.
Today they had an essay on trade by Adam Smith (an extract from The Wealth of Nations) published in Al Ghad. I was especially pleased when I met with journalists in Beirut who praised the high quality of the translations and the elegance of the language.
