The Neighbors
Good fences do make good neighbors, as the case of an English lady walking nude in her own backyard shows. Her neighbor, who was apparently “shaken” by the event, told the BBC:
“She walked back and fore completely naked – I went to get my video camera to record the incident.
Well, making a film of a naked person in her own back yard is, well, not all that neighborly. (Maybe a polite request for a warning or a suggestion of a fence would have been preferable to running for a video camera.)
Of course, it’s an interesting question from a Coasian perspective about who should put up the fence. But surely that’s a better approach than prosecuting a lady for taking her clothes off in her own back yard.
