I got the noon flight yesterday from Heathrow to Dulles, managed to get through immigration, collect my bags, and get to the office for a few hours of trying-to-get-reorganized time. And, despite the jet lag, I did get to the gym for 90 minutes, which will help the transition. My girls are both healthy (thanks to the great cat-sitters they have when I’m away) and seem quite happy to have me back. (There has been much snuggling and conversation.) Now it’s back to the office grindstone.
I’m going to try to finish up the proofing today of the manuscript for my forthcoming book Realizing Freedom. Catching typos in hundreds of pages of material I wrote, and therefore find familiar and easy to scan over, is darn hard. But I’m catching some….
