New Lectures Today

I’m re-working two Powerpoint presentations on institutions and incentives for two different audiences: a university audience and an audience of politicians, party workers, journalists, NGO workers, and others. I’m happy to be working with a very talented Kurdish translator, so I’ll be able to post PDF formatted versions in English and in Kurdish, perhaps later today. (I’ve got some new slides that those interested in communicating the political economy of freedom may find interesting.) One of the themes is that institutions matter much more than natural resources. I’m about to have a longer discussion with the very talented translator about the concept of incentives to figure out how best to communicate the idea to the various audiences.)
